The supermodel wears a David Koma dress from the British designer’s fall 2023 collection, featuring an illusion mesh bodice and a major (and often-controversial) anatomical position . While the pie was certainly eye-catching, the most unexpected part of the outfit was the funky long scarf that Jenner wore around her neck. And the viola! The smorgasbord of aesthetics makes perfect sense for Jenner, who often seamlessly shifts between understated minimalism and bold, contemporary looks. The star, like many other celebrities, has been a bit of an exhibitionist lately. For her Met Gala post-party look, Jenner donned a sheer dress and revealing lingerie throughout. With her latest no-makeup look, the star tapped into the power of illusion. At first glance, she appears to be wearing a corset or a Skims-style bodysuit with pie. But her look was actually an off-the-shoulder dress with smartly cut mesh.
For true Jenner fans, it should come as no surprise that this dress has a touch of Audrey Hepburn. The model, who references the late icon several times in her fashion, walked around Paris in March wearing a little black dress, headscarf and oversized sunglasses. For her 2023 Met Gala look, crafted by Givenchy’s Matthew M. Williams, the star asked Hepburn at Tribute to the superstar role in My Fair Lady .
In many ways, Jenner’s style is a lot like her David Koma dress. There’s a lot more to it than just being an instant eye-catcher.
