The global version of iQOO Neo 6 went live only a few months ago, but the leaks of its successor are already piling up. The phone has just been listed by 3C and the leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed some key details.
iQOO Neo 7 will bring upgraded battery technology to support faster 120W charging(001V/6A ), in the global and Chinese version of Neo 6 80 Top on W. The battery capacity has not been revealed, but the current model has 4,766 mAh in the tank.
Global and China Neo 6 powered by Qualcomm chips (Snapdragon 870 and 8 respectively Gen 1), but the new model is expected to drop those chips in favor of the Dimensity 766+, which recently appeared on the ROG Phone 6D.
According to DCS iQOO Neo 7 will be equipped with FHD+ 64 Hz display (with PWM dimming). The main camera will be equipped with 50 MP IMX 766 V sensor (customized by Sony for vivo IMX766, 1/1.001”, 1.0µm ) , replace 50MP GW1 sensor (1/1.64 ”, 0.8µm) Neo 6. IMX766V has been used in iQOO 8 Pro flagship since last year.
iQOO Neo 7 may be released next month. However, it’s hard to say whether this will be a global release or a China-only release. Also, it’s very likely that the hardware will vary widely between regions, just like the Neo 6.
