Israel Adesanya wasn’t in the least bit intimidated by Alex Pereira.
“The Last Stylebender” may have a 0-2 win over “Poatan” in kickboxing, but he doesn’t think the latter poses much of a threat in MMA, thanks to Pereira is the one-dimensionality of a fighter who scores a mere 6 on the Threat Scale.
Adesanya knocked down Pereira in 7 Glory Heroes but claims their rematch at UFC 281 will be is a completely different story, suggesting he has devised a strategy to beat the Brazilian on Nov. 12.
“Threat table, to be honest, as a mixed martial artist…I’ll give him a 6 to be honest. ..totally honest: Threats Mi Liu,” Adesanya tells Combat TV

UFC 281: Adesanya vs. Pereira will see Adesanya take his middleweight title to victory in the five-round main event on November 12, 2022 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
