“The strange combination between Adidas and Gucci codes is a chemical experiment , in the most ambiguous way possible,” the designer gleefully commented on Zoom from his Rome-based studio. “So, I got involved with the campaign in a similar way. I was going to put the collection in Kubrick’s iconic scene, where my clothes exist organically in his world, but at the same time feel completely alien —This is my tribute to cinema and one of its brightest masters.”
