The wait is coming to an end – Sony has finally revealed the price and release date of the PlayStation VR2 headset. Coming in February next year, but pre-order a few weeks from now.
PSVR2 will cost $530 / €500 / £475 /¥40,, making it more expensive than $213 The original. It will cost more than Meta Quest 2, even after the price hike (to $75). This base kit includes the VR headset itself, two VR2 Sense controllers, and a stereo headset.
You can also buy a charging station for the controller $22 / € / £ / ¥5,213. There’s also the Hill’s Horizon Calling bundle, which includes a game voucher.

Speaking of which, Sony also announced 002 New titles for PlayStation VR2: The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, Crossfire: Squad Sierra , Light Brigade, Cities VR – Enhanced Version,Cosmos High School, Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue , Jurassic World Aftermath Collection , Pistol Whip VR , Zenith: The Last City , Fallen After and tentacles . We’ve included trailers for these at the bottom. Note that these are in addition to previously announced new Horizon games, Resident Evil Village and several others.
Return to PSVR2. Fans in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg can only purchase the headset from the official direct.playstation.com store. Pre-orders start in November .
