Jameela Jamil reveals she has canceled her audition for Season 4 you because she doesn’t want to do intimate scenes.

Jamil said she was originally supposed to audition for the newest season of the Badgley-led Netflix series , but when she learned that her “role was supposed to be very sexy,” she “dropped out of the audition because I was so shy about anything sexy that I couldn’t do it.”
The Good Place star didn’t say which role she was auditioning for, but she did ask Badgley’s past about it showrunner Sera Gamble’s comment on cutting down on the sex scene in the crime drama series.
“And then you come out the fuck, like, ‘Yeah, I’m not doing sex scenes anymore…'” Jameel said. “I was like, ‘Fucking hell, I don’t even know that’s where we can draw the line. This is awesome.’ But then I thought, ‘I should just finish the fucking show.'”
Gossip Girl alumni later told in an interview in March )GQ , comments on social media about his sex scene are “overblown.” “What I’m talking about isn’t actually the final product,” he told the press at the time. “It’s a bit of a culture inherent in all filmmaking, especially those scenes. Like, look, we know Hollywood has a history of blatant exploitation and abuse.”

Jamil clarified that “it’s not a shame. . …..I feel like there’s an awkwardness around it. The actress shared a personal take, saying, “I don’t think I’ve ever been one to objectify myself. But it’s also because I had so many deep childhood sexual traumas and stuff. So I don’t think it’s ever been a thing for me. ”
She continued, “You know, I still wear little skirts or full tops, but like, every once in a while. But overall, I feel pretty able to protect themselves. ”
