Jamie Dornan and Danielle Macdonald are heading to Ireland for the second season of ) Horror Series Tourist .
Season 1, broadcast on
BBC in January , became the UK’s most-watched TV series of the year and won three Golden Fairy Awards at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.
The new six-part thriller, produced by the BBC in association with Stan and ZDF, was created and written by Jack and Harry Williams and produced by the award-winning Two Brothers Pictures (Baptiste, The Missing, Fleabag
) and All3Media International. Filming is set to begin this spring.
A year after their adventure in the Australian outback, the new series will follow Dornan (Belfast , The Fall
, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar), and Executive Producer, Macdonald (Unbelievable, Dumplin ‘, Patti Cake$), they are traveling to Ireland together.
After a car accident leaves him with severe amnesia, they decide it’s finally time for Elliott to get back to his roots and they find themselves dragged into his A past life in a whirlwind of danger. Elliott battles his own demons, while Helen is forced to hunt down pieces of a greater mystery; forcing them to face enemies old and new.

International sales for the second season of The Tourist will be handled by All3Media international, which owns Two Brothers Pictures.
