Japan's government to spend $24 billion in budget reserves to deal with price hikes

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan will spend 3.19 trillion yen (USD24.31 billion) budget reserves to deal with continued price increases and to deal with COVID-19 19, the Treasury said on Tuesday.

The decision was made at a cabinet meeting of Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
