Geoff Neal hopes to be the title of his fight night card the next time he faces Gilbert Burns across from the Octagon.
Neal beat Vicente Luque by TKO in the third round at UFC Vegas 59, after winning, he called out Gilbert Burns. If Neil does get to play Burns as much as he wants, he hopes it will be a Main Event slot. He knows it’s going to be a very interesting fight for the fans, and Neil believes he’ll raise his hand, and will likely do so while the game is suspended.
With Neal’s confidence, he believes that a stoppage-time win over Burns can win him the title. “Yes, it might depend on how I beat Gilbert and the state of the division and what the fans want, ‘ Neil said. “Maybe (my next fight is for the belt) if I do well and take Gilbert away in a fashion-dominant fashion.”
Jeff should have Neil got the Gilbert Burns game he wanted, which he hopes will happen this year. Neal wants to be positive and wants to have a year-end battle with the Brazilian.
