Little time to study (laughing), but Kendall admits his dad is a brute. A lot of what Ivan says is True, and he said it himself; he called him a malevolent being at the end of season two. But I think you see his reverence for his father through Kendall’s eyes. And I think it’s important that we see this It’s not about market capitalization, it’s about the vitality of the man and what he’s done.”

” he laughed, referring to Game of Thrones . “From Beginning at the end of episode 6 , really, I think he can see the endgame. A lot happens in episode nine. He feels blamed for this election and his guilt for making this Faustian deal, and really, he’s totally compromised himself, and he knows it. I think he’s in a mess. The real moral crisis we saw in the last episode. ’
He continued, “But [his ex-wife] Rava [Natalie Gold] called him and took the kids out of town and then Jess defected too . In a way, his assistant Jess, I mean she’s such a great character, and Juliana Canfield is such a great actress, I love that they gave her this great scene. But in a sense, she’s one of the only people Kendall left. Everyone else is gone. 1235492561Shiv With 1000613924185 Tom [Matthew Macfadyen ]; other characters we see in our relationships with people. Jesse is where Kendall feels safe, so it’s a real Achilles heel for Kendall that it’s coming from. He’s been trying, but I think he’s really out of sorts, and it just makes him want more of what he wants. So I think he just doubled down. ”
Strong then explained how Roman’s eulogy accident opened the door for Kendall when it came to the looming issue of Succession and who Will eventually be Logan Roy’s successor.
. In a sense, he’s getting stronger and stronger, the whole room can feel it. He feels [ It]. They joke about the coronation demolition derby, but it was his father’s funeral and it was also Kendall’s coronation. I left that church and something happened profoundly from the way I walked into that church to the way I left that church And Hugo’s kind of incubation plot, where there’s just a kind of determination in the character. I think more and more we’re seeing him as the son of Logan Roy, and Logan is his middle name.”
