Jordan Peele's stop-motion horror fantasy 'Wendell & Wild' gets a delightful evil trailer

First look at Jordan Peele and Henry Selick’s upcoming stop motion movie Wendell and Wilder .

Co-written by Peele and Selick, who also directs, the film features an all-star voice cast led by Peele and frequent collaborator Keegan-Michael Key as the demon duo must have Facing their nemesis, Sister Hayley (voiced by Angela Bassett), can escape from hell.

In the process, they enlist the help of Kat – the young, bubbly girl who plays a major role in the trailer trailer and is voiced by Lyric Ross. James Hong, Ving Rhames and Sam Zelaya are also part of the dub.

1.5-minute trailer gives a lively peek at horror fantasy, urging viewers to ‘beware of your wishes’ as Kate is thrust into a world of ghostly (and scary) Creatures, wild theme parks and extended cemeteries.

“Everyone has demons,” teased Rose’s Kate. “My demons have names.”

Selick, best known for directing stop-motion classics Coraline and The Nightmare Before Christmas , in addition to writing and songwriting for Netflix animation, Also serves as a director feature. This story comes from Selick and Clay MacLeod Chapman.

Peele is making it, as are Selick and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein. The film was first announced on 500, 1235165157 Netflix on 500. Video was shown during Netflix’s presentation at the Annecy International Film Festival in June.

The stop-motion feature film will be officially launched in October 28.
