Jorge Masvidal shares his Kamaru Usman vs Leon Edwards 2 prediction: “I don't think he's going to stop him or nothing, I just think he's going to win”

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Jorge Masvidal shares his predictions for tomorrow night’s Usman-Edwards 2 fight.

Usman (20-1 MMA) and Edwards (19-3 MMA) will fight for second at UFC 278 tomorrow night A minor collision, which is tied to the welterweight title.

The two first met in December 2015, and the “Nigerian Nightmare” won by unanimous decision. Since then, Kamaru Usman has won 13 straight fights while holding the UFC welterweight title and defending his title five times in a row.

Meanwhile, Leon Edwards has gone 9-0 since the Usman setback in 2015 1 game without a match. The Birmingham native defeated Nate Diaz by unanimous decision in his most recent effort at UFC 263.

Given that he has fought Kamaru Usman twice and scuffled with Leon Edwards at UFC London, there is no doubt that the previous Welterweight title challenger Jorge Masvidal has some great insight into tomorrow night’s title fight.

For “Gambred”, he supports Usman to win by decision, but does not rule out being eliminated by “Rocky”.

“I think Kamaru won. I don’t think He stopped him or nothing, I just thought he won. I think he figured out a way to catch him, knock him out, control him, take a couple of blows, knock him out, you know? ” Jorge Masvidal told MAFighting (h/t MMA News). “I can see Leon winning, you know, because it’s a fight that anyone can win, and I can see him with a head kick or a knee or Something else grabs him and stops him because it’s not like Usman is perfect. Nobody is perfect in this sport. He’s easy to get caught and put away. But I lean towards Usman.”
