Julianna Margulies will reprise her role as UBA news anchor Laura Peterson for the upcoming season. As she did in season two last year, the Emmy winner will have a major role in the series. The role of Margulies rocked morning anchors Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Reese Wither) last season Spoon), and eventually begins a relationship with Bradley.
“I found her to be such a compelling, interesting character,” Margulies tells The Hollywood Reporter in the second season. “When you meet her, she’s been through fire, she’s come out the other side. She’s comfortable in her skin, has no skeletons in her wardrobe, she’s totally at the pinnacle of her career. She doesn’t want anyone. She’s only Enjoy her life and what she is like in the world.”
