Julio Rodriguez joins Red Sox, Yankees royalty with rookie feat

Seattle Mariners Rookie Julio Rodriguez has had an incredible start to his MLB career and is making history with some of the best players around.

Seattle Mariners rookie Julio Rodriguez, nicknamed “J-Rod,” had one of the best starts of his MLB career.

He has established himself as a huge MLB asset in Seattle, and he will be the fourth AL player to be 21 or younger Join elite company and hit 25+ home runs in his first MLB season.

Julio Rodríguez is the fourth AL player 21 or younger to hit 25+ home runs in his first MLB season, joining Joe DiMaggio (1936) , Ted Williams (1939) and Eddie Murray (1977).

Rodriguez is also considered a leader in Seattle, despite being a complete stranger to the big leagues.

He is undoubtedly a leader, both on and off the court. While there’s always room for improvement, his rookie season was better than most, and he’s likely to only continue to get better.
