Ted Lasso star Juno Temple is ready to make his Marvel debut.
The actress, nominated for two Emmys for her work on the hit Apple comedy, is in talks to join Tom Hardy inVenom 3, the next entry in Sony’s Spider-Man-related character universe.
Kelly Marcel , who worked as a scribe in previous films, will make her directorial debut with function. She also wrote the screenplay based on her and Hardy’s story.
The duo will produce alongside Avi Arad, Matt Tolmage, Amy Pascal and Hatch Parker.
Details are still under wraps, but one source says Temple could be playing an existing Marvel character.
Michelle Williams leads the first two Venom films with a romantic role.
Temple has prior comic book movie experience as ‘s The Dark Knight Rises and of Sin City: A Dame to Die For. Other featured works include Horns and Maleficent .
It was her Lasso model-turned-PR consultant Keeley Jones who raised her profile in Hollywood and beyond. Apple recently released the third season of Lasso.
She will next appear in the fifth season of the FX crime series anthology Fargo. Deadline First report
