Karlovy Wari International Film Festival’s Eastern Promise Industry Section and Film Market presented on Tuesday evening awards.

KVIFF Eastern Promises describes its mission as “bridging the gap between talented filmmakers and their potential partners, festivals and audiences”. The award is open to producers and directors from countries in Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the former Soviet Union, and the Middle East and North Africa, presenting new films that will premiere after the Karlovy Vary Film Festival.
There are 10 projects competing for awards this year, with a total value of 445, Euro ($445,) are divided into three projects: Works in Progress, Works in Development – Feature Release and First Cut+.
