Kate Middleton dazzles in Jenny Packham and Queen Elizabeth II earrings

Since becoming Princess of Wales, we’ve seen Kate wear the tiara twice: at King Charles III’s first state dinner in November and at a diplomatic corps reception in December. Now, the royal is back in princess mode again, photographed at the state banquet for the wedding of Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa Saif in Amman, Jordan.

White bow tie, Kate opted for a dazzling pink Jenny Packham gown (she also owns emerald green), continuing a series of all-pink looks she’s worn over the past week , with a matching Prada clutch. She also wore Lover’s Knot Tiara—a piece she’s turned to frequently over the years. The tiara was 1913 commissioned by Royal Jewelers Garrard for Queen Mary and has previously been worn by Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II.

At the State Dinner, Kate also wore some heirloom jewellery, new to her: the Greville chandelier earrings, worn by the late Queen on numerous occasions during her reign. Queen Elizabeth II received them as a wedding present from her parents – her mother inherited them from a jewel-loving British socialite, Lady Margaret Helen Greville, who died in Bought this pair of diamond earrings from Cartier.

Kate wasn’t the only British royal sporting heirloom at the wedding reception: Princess Beatrice chose to wear attended the event with a York tiara belonging to her mother Sarah Ferguson. The tiara was commissioned by Garrard and was a gift from Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip ahead of the 1986 Duchess of York’s wedding .
