Sports Illustrated model and actress Kate Upton and MLB star Justin Verlander have had a special relationship over the past decade. The pair first met while filming a commercial together in 2012, and they got together shortly after. Despite their brief split in mid-2013, Upton and Verlander are closer than ever, and the pair tied the knot in November 2017 and gave birth to daughter Genevieve in November 2018.
The couple, who have had very different careers, support each other immensely, and Upton was particularly vocal about standing behind her husband when the Houston Astros advanced to the World Series in October. “I’m so proud of you @justinverlander . . . ASTROS will be at the World Series!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” Upton wrote on Instagram on October 27.

The pair celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary on November 4, with Upton sharing a sweet post on Instagram to mark the special milestone, writing: “5 years gone…forever. Life with you never gets old. I love you @justinverlander. Happy Anniversary! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
