PFL women’s flyweight Kayla Harrison isn’t surprised to see Cris Cyborg get a big offer from a promotion.
Judo will play Martina Jindrová in PFL 9 later this month. The match is the semifinal of the 2022 PFL Women’s Lightweight Championship. If Harrison wins, she’ll have a chance to be the three-time tournament champion that advances.
However, beyond this weekend’s game, the 32-year-old clashed with Cris Cyborg. The rivalry between the two almost happened earlier this year, when Harrison nearly signed Bellato. However, the Brazilian now seems more likely to come to the PFL. The Bellato Women’s Featherweight Champion is currently a free agent. While she has expressed interest in entering boxing full-time, she has also held public talks with the PFL. Now, Kayla Harrison reacts to her promotion’s interest in Cris Cyborg. In an interview with MMAJunkie Radio, the judoka said she was not surprised to see the offer. Harrison thinks the PFL is here to stay and make some big moves.
The 32-year-old said she is also very interested in the game in addition to the contract offer. Harrison was also quick to note that Davis’s offer was serious, not mere rhetoric.
