Congratulations to Keke Palmer.
On Monday, the actor confirmed on social media that she gave birth to a baby boy, Leodis Andrellton. “Hey son!” Palmer captioned an Instagram slideshow that included a photo of her and boyfriend Darius Jackson posing with their newborn child. “Welcome to the world baby Leo.”
Palmer also shared a close-up of Leodis’s face as he snuggled up to a stuffed elephant and she and Jackson at the Selfie from a meeting Parent time.
Palmer announced her pregnancy last December while hosting Saturday Night Live. “There were some rumors going around; people in my comments saying, ‘Keke has a baby, Keke is pregnant,'” she said on the show. “I want to set the record straight – I am!”
This is the first of many stylish maternity moments for Palmer. Not long after, she glamorized at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards in a shimmering silver Michael Kors dress, showing off her developing baby bump. Then, in January, she orchestrated a high-octane photo shoot with renowned fashion photographer David LaChapelle, wearing a yellow chiffon Fendi gown as Jackson watched. “It’s giving poetry. It’s giving [Michelangelo],” Palmer wrote of the photo. “It’s for the Sistine Chapel. It’s a masterpiece.”
Palmer and Jackson date since 2021. This is their first child.
