Ever since actor Keke Palmer announced she was expecting her first child, the star wasted no time creating stylish maternity looks. She first broke the news while hosting Saturday Night Live
when she unbuttoned her camel Sportmax suit to reveal her belly. She also walked the red carpet at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards this month in a silver sequined Michael Kors gown. With Rihanna at the fore, she’s proving that maternity clothes can still be stylish and striking.
This week, however, Palmer took things to the next level with a full-on maternity shoot. I mean, who else could hire legendary fashion photographer David LaChapelle for their maternity shoots? In the footage, Palmer shows off her belly in a yellow chiffon Fendi dress, while boyfriend Darius Jackson looks on. Jewels from Al Zain added sparkle to her glamorous outfit. “It’s giving poetry. It’s giving [Michelangelo],” Palmer wrote. “It gave the Sistine Chapel. It’s a masterpiece.”
