Good Burger 2 , the sequel to the iconic 25 film, has been greenlit in Paramount+ and Nickelodeon Studios.

Kyle Mitchell , playing the original cashier Ed, announced the news on Friday by Jimmy · The Tonight Show starring Fallon .
“I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since I was born with great customer service At Good Burger!” Thompson said. “It makes me so proud to be a part of something so many generations have loved, and it’s surreal to be back where it all started for a sequel!”
With Thompson and Mitchell Will reprises their roles, and the movie will follow them as they reunite with a new group of employees at fast food restaurant Good Burger today. Phil Traill (The Middle, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Single Drunk Female) will direct The film is written and executive produced by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert (All That and Good Burger).
“Ed is one of those timeless characters that brought so much joy and laughter to the fans and it’s such a blessing to still be doing it after all these years, ’ added Mitchell. “It’s great to be back and continue the story of Dex, Ed and Good Burger, and to let the stories of those who grew up watching them and their kids do it.”
Production will in May, is scheduled to premiere later this year.
