Kevin Holland's mysterious Instagram post looks like he's retiring from MMA

Fan favorite Kevin Holland may have just announced his retirement.

“Running 30 times over a month, getting paid, I’m out,” he wrote in the quote. “Next career choice??” In the caption of the image, he simply put the hand of peace emoji.

The Netherlands after losing in the first round to Khamzat Chimeav after the UFC was forced to reschedule three fights on the UFC 279 fight card due to Chimeav’s underweight.

After the loss, he looked happy and relaxed.

His post seems to imply that since he is approaching 30 (his birthday is November 5, 1992) is Time to hang up your gloves and move on to other things.

In the comments, many fans felt that this was not a serious retirement, while others were almost begging him to keep fighting.

“Cya next PPV card guy,” someone commented. Another fan said: “Stop before I start crying.” Another wrote, “Slow down now” and another “Enough internet today Kev.”

“It’s too early for you to troll us,” said one fan. “Pressure creates diamonds!!! Keep pushing people…you get the idea. So talented,” wrote another fan.

On Hollander’s Instagram Story, he shared a post from Daniel Rodrix, who was supposed to fight Neil Magny at UFC 279 fight together. He captioned it: “Haha I just want this junk, it’s crazy.” A second Instagram Story read “Retire before 30.”
