This rest of the AFC West is officially on the radar because in one game, 3 sacks, 7 quarterback pressure, 6 tackles and a forced turnover clearly Not enough for Khalil Mack.
“It’s not good enough,” the Los Angeles Chargers passer after helping lead his new team to a first-week win said after a 24-19 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Joe Reedy’s Associated Press. “I left a lot of stuff out there and I have to correct it.”
Reidy noticed that Mike , the Chargers acquired him in an offseason trade through the Chicago Bears, joining Sean Merriman and Rodney Harrison as the only players in franchise history to complete 3 sacks in a season opener .
Much of the focus this offseason has been on the AFC West offense, with the Denver Broncos adding Russell Wilson, the Raiders add Davante Adams, but the idea of Mike and Joey Bosa rushing to pass the Chargers is certainly a scary one for the rest of the division.
They totaled 4.5 sacks and 16 quads against Las Vegas Shooting pressure and will have a chance against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Thursday’s matchup.
It seems like Mike might need four or five sacks to be happy with his performance.
