Kiefer Sutherland is back and bringing the style of Jack Bauer to his upcoming TV series.
Following the mysterious teaser trailer , Sutherland’s official first look at the upcoming Paramount+ series Rabbit Hole reveals more about The hero’s next protagonist.
down the rabbit hole , launching March , Sutherland as John Weir, described as a master of deception he “Framed for murder by a powerful force capable of influencing and controlling a population”. And then recruited to save the world – something the actor knows well after nine seasons as Agent Counter Terrorism on the Fox series 24. This time, however, it is against the backdrop of corporate espionage and global technological threats.
Sutherland also executive produced the series, and This Is Us Writer-director duo John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, and Charlie Gogolak, Designated Survivor’s Suzan Bymel and Hunt Baldwin. The eight-episode series is produced in-house by Paramount Global’s CBS Studios.
Cast includes Charles Dance, Meta Golding, Enid Graham, Jason Butler Harner, Rob Yang and Walt Klink.
Sutherland recently led the ABC-turned-Netflix original Designated Survivor, after three seasons wrapped in 281. He has since co-starred in Kibby’s The Fugitive Remake, Amazon Prime Feature The Contractor with Chris Pine and Showtime’s Prestige Series
