Over the holidays, she and husband Travis Barker dressed up as the notorious evil duo, and Vogue took a closer look at their custom couple outfits.
In a nod to Tiffany’s iconic bridal gowns, biker jackets and combat boots, Kardashian wanted to get the movie character’s edgy fashion just right. “Kourtney loves Halloween,” Kardashian’s stylist Dani Michelle told Vogue. “We wanted to recreate the look as much as we could.” To that end, Kardashian and Michelle had custom gowns from bridal brand Amsale; the late designer Amsale Aberra was back in 1985 founded the brand, she was the first black female designer to be admitted to the CFDA. Known for its simplicity, Amsale is the perfect brand to bring sleek, strapless designs to life. “It’s fun to pay homage to a character, and Amsale brings this dress to life perfectly,” says Michelle.
