She also loves the show’s unexpected beauty moments, like hair blown by the wind on purpose. “I have to mention Guido Palau’s hair: I heard balloons were used for the static effect,” Minogue said. “It gave the look a ‘last minute dash to the store’, ‘coolest school run’ or ‘evening out straight to work’ vibe.”
As for Minogue’s own show Day ensemble, the star said she wanted a more timeless, elegant vibe (she’s very Parisian). “I chose a black velvet shift dress with spaghetti straps and button details,” Minogue said. “I also opted for a soft A-line jacket, also in velvet, and added a gorgeous lace collar. It felt effortless to wear and was a refreshing silhouette for me.” An added bonus — This dress has pockets! “I’ve always been a big fan of pockets on dresses,” Minogue says. “Also, the coat has beautiful movement and softness.”
Minogue then ended her day at Paris Fashion Week with dinner at Gigi with designer Miuccia Prada. Stunning views of the Eiffel Tower. “It was the first time I met her and I was able to tell her how much I admired her as a longtime fan,” Milo said. Meanwhile, post-Paris, Milo is now back in all-around music mode: she’ll have more dance tracks for us soon. “I’m wrapping up my album and will soon be turning to the visual side of the campaign,” Minogue said. “Standing on the brink of a new era is very exciting and I can’t wait to share it with you.”
Here’s the scoop on Minogue’s Paris Fashion Week experience.
