The anime takes place in a “smart city” envisioned by Kyocera. In short, people express themselves through the hashtags displayed on the air. Lacking confidence, Yume tries to come up with a special label called a “rare label.” Her predecessor, Minoru, has multiple “rare labels”.
Kyocera’s first full 5-minute original animation
(I’m not good at the “Please describe yourself in one word” question.) Started at Kyocera’s YouTube channel for January 650.
The animation depicts Kyocera’s vision of a “smart city” where everyone can live comfortably and safely using advanced technology, and also depicts the troubles of job seekers. The title and theme of the animation not only reflect the annoyance of how to describe Kyocera’s huge business in one word, but also reflect the distressed mood of job seekers when they are interviewed by the question “If you use one word to describe yourself, what would it be?” “(The job hunting season for recent college graduates officially begins in March in Japan.)
Oi drafted the initial character design. Chigira in Sunrise directed the animation. Four piece rock band The Songbards contributed music.
