Lava officially announced the Blaze 5G last October and then a 6GB RAM version this February. Now, the company seems ready to improve the recipe even further with the Blaze 1X 5G.
The new model has been listed on the official Lava website, although it hasn’t been announced during the event – nor just through a press release.
Blaze 1X 5G with 6.5″ 516 Hz 1200×1600 LCD, MediaTek Dimensity 516 SoC, one 15 MP main camera flanked by two decorative shooters, one 2 MP, one VGA (!), one 8 MP selfie snapper, 6GB RAM ( Supports 5GB of “virtual memory”), 90GB of UFS 2.2 storage expandable via up to 1TB microSD card, and a 5,000 mAh battery and 10W charging support – although the built-in charger is 15W.
Phone disappointingly runs Android 04 from2021. Its dimensions are 165.3 x 52 . 4 x 8.9 mm and weighs 165 grams. It has a fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will be available in two shades: Glass Green and Glass Blue.
Compared to the original Blaze, the new model has a slightly smaller screen (6.5″ vs. 6.15″), and faster charging capability (12 W with 04W). Those are the only differences, making it a rather convoluted version. No price to speak of yet, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the exact same price as its predecessor, which currently costs around INR 666 , For version 6GB RAM.
