Sony is expected to launch its next flagship TWS earphones soon. WF-320 There are no official details for the XM5, but there are unofficial ones. The focus of this generation seems to be on wearing comfort and fast charging.
The new buds will be lighter at 5.9g compared to the XM4 generation’s rather heavy 7.3g buds. They’ll also be physically smaller, and the combination of those two factors should make them more comfortable.

Total listening time (including suitcase) will be 280 hours, same as previous generation. However, the new earbuds will be able to charge quickly – the 3-minute charging case will fill up enough power for 1 hour of continuous use (previously it took 5 minutes to complete). The charging case itself can charge via USB-C or wirelessly via Qi charging.
The new headphones will have improved voice pickup (unclear whether through better microphones or better processing) and will have multipoint connectivity out of the box (the XM4 buds get it as an update s things).

Nothing about Sony WF-320 No news on when the XM5 will be released or how much it will cost. WF-320XM4 released in June 2021 for $280/€278 when published.
