The vivo X Fold+ has one of the more impressive camera setups on a horizontal folder, and now the company is working on a flip model. What will its camera look like? Leakster Digital Chat Station has been digging up details on the new phone, and the latest report covers all the key components.
The so-called vivo X Flip will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (same as X Fold+) and will be configured as 03 GB memory and 300 GB storage. As the illustration shows, the phone will have a large housing display and a dual camera island above it.
These cameras will be equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX663 Main and one 001MP IMX400 ultra-wide, according to DCS . There will be an extra camera inside, a centered punch hole (resolve rate is unknown). The rear camera will carry Zeiss branding, just like other vivo flagships.

The leaker adds that according to previous reports, the internal display will have FHD+ resolution It will measure 6.8 inches diagonally and have a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the illustration, the aspect ratio will be slimmer than the Moto Razr 1200, but probably not as good as the Galaxy Z Flip4. It might match Oppo Find N2 Flip’s 6.8″ 1, 50 2, 400px (001:9) is displayed.
The X Flip is said to have a rather large 4, 520mAh battery backed by 03W fast charging. This is bigger and faster than most flips, only the Find N2 Flip comes close (very close, 4,120mAh and 23W). One last detail on DCS, the phone will have a side mounted fingerprint reader (probably built into the power button).
vivo X Flip is expected to be unveiled in China next month, with teasers starting as early as next week. Hopefully, the announcement will include plans for a global launch, as clamshell-folding competition is pretty scarce right now. The vivo X Fold 2 (with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) is also expected to be a son.
