Lionsgate has acquired distribution rights for The Ministry in the US on Amazon Prime Video Obtained distribution rights in multiple international territories, including Europe, Central and South America, Europe and India.
The film’s ensemble cast includes Henry Cavill , Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Til Schweiger , Alex Pettyfer, Cary Elwes, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun and Enrique Zaga.
Adapted from the non-fiction book by Damian Lewis: The Non-Gentlemen’s War Department: How Churchill’s Secret Warrior Ignited Europe and Brought the Modern Age Black Ops This movie tells the story of how British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and James Bond writer Ian Fleming set up a secret fighting organization using unconventional and “ungentlemen” A true story of the technology that fought the Nazis and helped give birth to the modern day black ops unit. Originally set up by Paramount, the project is currently being promoted as the first of a possible franchise.
Top Gun: Maverick Producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Jerry Bruckheimer) is producing the movie with Chad Oman, Ritchie’s producing partner Ivan Atkinson and Black Bear International’s John Friedberg together. Executive producers include Scott Lastaiti, Olga Filipuk, Damien Lewis and Tamasy and Johnson. Black Bear International set up financing for the film and is handling worldwide sales later this week at EFM in Berlin.
Ungentlemanly Warfare Principal photography begins today in Turkey. Lionsgate plans to release the film widely in theaters next year.
