Lisa Rinna is saying goodbye to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
After eight seasons, The Hollywood Reporter can confirm.
“This is the longest job I’ve held in my 32 year career, I thank you all at
Bravo and everyone involved with the series,” Rinna wrote to THR said in a statement*). “It’s been a fun 8-year run and I’m excited for what’s to come!”
Rinna’s rep told THR, “Given that Lisa’s contract expired at the end of last season, after taking the time to weigh her current options and business obligations, Lisa and Bravo discussed and jointly decided that she would not Back at RHOBH.”
Days of Our Days Alumni Joined in Season 5 of
reality show and quickly became known for his dramatic moments. During her first season of the show, she had one of the most memorable fights with then-co-star Kim Richards, in which she threw a wine glass at him.
Rinna has been controversial at times on RHOBH
but has earned a loyal following. While this season has been a tough one for the actress, starting with the loss of her mother, she’s still upset with the backlash she’s received from some fans Upset, even when she was booed at BravoCon.
“This is awesome,” Rinna told People
at that time. “I’m like a wrestler. Wrestlers get booed. The most famous wrestlers in the world get booed. For God’s sake, Dwayne Johnson got booed. I love it. I have been in this business for years.”
