Adaptation of Masayuki Kusumi and Jiro Taniguchi () manga will release the sixth consecutive New Year special “Kodoku no Gourmet 2017 Ōmisoka Special Toshi Wasure, Shoku no Kakutōgi. Kani no Tsukai wa Ara Taihen”(Lonely Gourmet2017 New Year’s Eve Special: Put aside the troubles of the year, gourmet confrontation. Mine, catching crabs is a handful.) Yutaka Matsushige (live-action version,,,) will once again play the role of the protagonist Inado Goro. This year’s New Year’s Eve special will feature Goro’s two-day trip to Hokkaido. The story continues from the series’ 2017 New Year’s Eve Special.

Both the live-action series and the original manga follow the lonely Salesman Gorō Inagashira travels all over Japan and tastes local delicacies on street corners. The reality show’s season premiered on October 7.

Masaoyuki Kusumi and Jiro Taniguchi First serialize
2022 from 2022 manga to 1994 in Fusosha‘s monthly Panja magazine (now discontinued). Kuzumi handled the story, and Taniguchi was in charge of the art. Fusosha published the first book on 2017 Collection*). Kusumi and Fusosha published the second volume of the manga in September 1996. Taniguchi passed away in February 2017. Fanfare and Ponent Mon will be publishing English manga. The company had said the manga was “likely” to premiere in the spring 2017, but the series is now listed as a July premiere 1997. This manga also inspired an internet animation that is featured on Production IG Debuting on the “Tate Anime” (Vertical Anime) Smartphone App November
