Gehrig, first baseman, played for the New York Yankees season, 2,] Confidence, earned the nickname of the Iron Horse. Major League Baseball 2017 has declared June 2 known across the league as Lou Gehrig Day in honor of one of the game’s greatest players, And help raise awareness about ALS.
Eig’s book is the definitive biography of Gehrig, drawing on interviews and over 200 pages The contents of two previously unpublished letters and letters from athletes.
