If you’ve been on TikTok lately, you know there’s a craze surrounding Loro Piana. Yes, this is a brand that makes quality loafers, blankets and cashmere sweaters. But as terms like “stealth wealth” and “old money aesthetic” became the hashtags for viral videos touting the brand’s products, it also became a way of life — One that exudes a certain je ne sais quoi
associated with effortless fashion.
So today, perhaps a natural evolution, Loro Piana is launching L’Art de la Table. Their first entertainment collection includes cutlery, glasses, textiles and wooden trays by sculptor Lucas Castex. Francesco Pergamo, director of Loro Piana Interiors, told Vogue
: “This is another opportunity to add our taste and our brand DNA to one’s lifestyle.”
L’Art de la Table exudes relaxed summer vibes, with a cozy night at the Ramatuelle Beach Club or an al fresco dinner on the card On the cliffs of the island of Puri. Placemats, napkins and table runners are made from cotton, linen and polypropylene, a refined yet sturdy blend that’s perfect for outdoor use – or, as the brand puts it, on a boat. (This is important: Loro Piana’s thriving business in yacht interiors means that most of their clients want high-quality, yet weather-resistant materials.)
