UFC middleweight Luke Lockhold defends his friend Marlon Villa. 
“Chito” scored the biggest win of his career last Saturday night at UFC San Diego. In the fourth round of the main event, Villa eliminated Dominic Cruz by a big score. The fight was only the second time the former UFC champion was stopped by a strike.
Before that victory, the UFC bantamweight contender had an interview with the controversial Full Send exit. Also known as the Nelk Boys, the team has a controversial relationship with the UFC. Although they are friends with Dana White, they have also publicly attacked fighters such as Henry Cejudo.
In the interview, Marlon Villa was given a Mexican luchador mask. The Ecuadorian wears a mask for the interview with the interviewer. Now Vera’s friend Luke Rockhold has ripped into full MMA reporters.

at UFC 278 Media Day earlier today, The former UFC middleweight champion slammed the interviewer. Rockhold said the reporter had to do his research, given that Villa is not Mexican, he is Ecuadorian, and giving him a luchador mask is deaf.
“I see you guys here right now, I see this bastard right here. You need to do your fucking homework. This degenerate culture of Barstool Sports and Full Send, you gotta do your homework. You can’t approach ‘Chito’, put a Mexican mask on him, and tell him it’s his culture. His culture? He’s a fucking Ecuadorian bastard. Do your homework.”
Luke Rockhold continued, “You gave him a Mexican mask and said ‘this is your culture’, something like those lines. This Disrespect to him and where he came from. Being a journalist is all about doing your homework and really understanding. I know you guys get carte blanche because Dana is now fucking working with you but fucking doing your fucking homework .”
