Luxury bangles are officially back

What do Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Bella Hadid and Olivia Wilde have in common? With the glorious return of the bracelet, they too have joined. In September, Wilde and Huntington-Whiteley both went with black and silver designs from Saint Laurent, while Hadid doubled down on a rising jewelry trend: once with a gorgeous stack by Jennifer Fisher, second with a bracelet by Michael Kors, Accentuates the runway look.

Likewise, designers are proving that flashy accessories don’t have to be an afterthought. There are several sculptural shapes worthy of being the centerpiece of any outfit. Take, for example, the stylish all-black outfits on display during Alaïa’s fall 2022 show. Pretty clothes certainly shine on their own, but bangles stacked together like a bodice take the look to new heights. Likewise, LaQuan Smith and Alexander McQueen further proved how much fun it can be to stack on top of jewelry.

If you think the bracelet moment is here today , tomorrow is over, please think again. This trend will pick up next spring as cuffs appear in Tory Burch, Khaite and Bally’s spring 2023 collections.
