About Cronobacter
Cronobacter-contaminated food will not look or smell spoiled, but it can still cause disease. Although Cronobacter is not usually associated with human disease, in rare cases it can cause serious or fatal infections. Crow Noobacillus can cause rare blood and central nervous system infections and has been associated with severe intestinal infections (necrotizing enterocolitis) and blood poisoning (septicemia), especially in newborns.
