Major dogfights at Red Bull Canada outlier FIM Hard ENDURO

Manuel Lettenbichler wins Red Bull Canada Outlier

Germany’s Manuel Lettenbichler wins World Championship in round seven of FIM Hard Enduro, Red Bull Canada outlier. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider overcame a tough battle with his hometown favorite FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Trystan Hart to take the title and win with just one round left. Sherco Factory Racing’s Mario Roman pushed the duo all the way to the podium with a third-place finish.

The two-day race kicked off with an urban Endurocross in downtown Calgary. However, as the weather turned bad and heavy rain meant the race was short-lived, the day’s games ended early.

With the weather returning to normal on Sunday, the riders faced a two-and-a-half-hour multi-lap Hard Enduro battle in the Badlands. Famous for its dinosaur fossils, the barren area also offers an average hard enduro route. Steep climbs, tricky camber traverses and tough descents ensure a brutal course mastery.

Battle of the Badlands

Hart quickly went offline and tried to Broke, but Lettenbichler and Roman Reigns quickly closed the gap. Each rider pushed the lead multiple times, but was pulled back each time. Back and forth, the lead changed hands many times.

As laps close, Lettenbichler finally A breakthrough, with Hart, Roman was unable to respond this time. The two went hand in hand. The final climb dictated the outcome, and Lettenbichler left everything on the line. Despite a mistake in the final 20 meters, he quickly got back on the horse and won by just 6 seconds.

Though missed the home win he came for, Hart was delighted with his second effort. After reaching the podium, Roman was just three minutes behind third. With the top three out of the way, Jarvis Racing Team’s Graham Jarvis finished fourth and GASGAS Factory Racing’s Taddy Blazusiak rounded out the top five.

Mario Roman was only three minutes behind the winning pace. He is four points behind in the standings.

With one round left, Lettenbichler’s advantage now lies in side. The German leads Roman by four points with just the eighth and final round of the 2022 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, the 24MX Hixpania Hard Enduro taking place on October 7-9.
