Consumers should stop using the recalled cordless hedge trimmer immediately and contact Makita USA Inc. Free maintenance. Makita will provide consumers with return labels to ship the trimmers back to the company for free installation of new blade guards. The company will return the trimmer repaired with a cyan guard on the blade.
