'Marcel Shell in Shoes' Qualifies for Oscar Animated Feature Competition (Exclusive)

Academy of Film Short and Feature Films Animation Chapter Executive Committee Confirmed Apollo 10 1/2: Space Age Childhood, Marcel Shell Shoes and Eternal Spring Animated Feature Film Category Eligible for th Academy Awards.

The rules further state that “Motion Capture And real-time puppets are not an animation technology per se” and “animation must account for no less than percentage of the running time of the picture. Also, a narrative animation film There must be a lot of main character animation.”
