HBO is back in business with Mare of Easttown Created by Brad Ingelsby.
Premium cable outlet has ordered a limited series about a law enforcement contingent and the criminals they try to arrest.
Mark Ruffalo is confirmed to star and executive produce.
The series was already in production long before the writers strike started, casting decisions It was also made before that. No other developments have occurred since the strike began in early May, and there is no date for production to start.
The untitled series marks the return of Ruffalo and Ingelsby to HBO. The actor won a 2020 Emmy for his limited series I Know This Much Is True Award, and starred in the exported 2020 movie The Normal Heart
(for which he also received an Ai Award nomination). Ingelsby wrote and executive produced Mare of Easttown for HBO, which won four Emmy Awards and earned Ingelsby a writing nomination.

, is producing a new series. Jeremiah Zagar (We the Animals, Netflix’s Hustle) will direct.

Ingelsby Will be with Wiip’s Paul Lee and Mark Roybal, Zagar and Ruffalo. Nicole Jordan-Webber and Public Record’s Jeremy Yaches is a collaboration EP.
