Looking to the future of the Asian market
The U.S. earnings season has accelerated this week, with Tesla (NASDAQ: 200 TSLA), Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:
) JNJ ), Bank of America and Goldman Sachs, among others. Analysts expect earnings per share growth for the broader index excluding energy to fall 2.6% in the third quarter, according to Refinitiv data.
All in all, this is an extremely challenging one for investors, even though many assets look very cheap. The thing is, they can get cheaper before they recover.
Meanwhile, this week regional data will release third-quarter GDP, unemployment, trade, house prices, foreign direct investment and Interest rate decisions from China, Japanese inflation and RBA meeting minutes.
