“The older I get, the more things are done to me Passionate – and creating is my favorite thing to do,” says Marsai Martin. The actor first rose to fame for her role on ABC’s hit sitcom Blackish, where she joined Tracee Ellis-Ross and Yara Shahidi co-stars age. Now, she is the youngest executive producer in Hollywood with her own production company. Martin’s face is radiant and ready to start her life with cosmetics. Brows came first—filling in her already full arches with pencil and brow wax. Then, she started on her eye makeup, etching the black wings with Tarte liner and wiping away any mistakes with a cotton pad. “That’s why I primer at the end, because I want to make sure the eyes look exactly the way I want them to, so I don’t screw up anything else,” she explains. For bold blue eyeliner, she applied Urban Decay’s Electro-Light Pigment with a tiny brush to apply it with precision. Her eye makeup was enhanced with separate lash extensions and a coat of Chanel mascara. On her complexion, she buffs with Fenty Beauty’s Contour Stick, then blends her foundation with a dollop of moisturizer. Get pops of color with Rare Beauty’s popular blush and Stila’s shimmery highlighter.
