In July, it was confirmed that Chad Reed will be participating in the FIM World Supercross Championship pilot season with MDK Motorsports this fall, but now the team has revealed its full four-driver roster. Former AMA Supercross and Motocross factory racer Josh Grant will race the Honda CRF450R in the SX1 (450cc) division with Reed, while Justin Bogle and Derek Drake will race the KTM 250 SX-F machines in the SX2 (250cc) division. The team also announced Minnesota native Henry Miller as a backup driver.

TWO WORLD SUPERCROSS Champion and Australian Superstar Chad Reed leads MDK Motorsports’ WSX (450cc) class with veteran American Josh Grant
Multiple Super Off-road and motocross champion Justin Bogle and up-and-coming American Derek Drake compete in the SX2 (250cc) class
Pata Scala, OH – MDK Motorsports, led by entrepreneurial team owner Mark Kvamme and managed by former supercross rider-turned-entrepreneur Jamey Grosser, announced that its final three drivers will be with Two-time World Supercross Champion Chad competes with Reed for the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX). All events started on 8th October th at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with MDK owning a team of A talented team of top and up-and-coming drivers competing for the FIM-sanctioned World Championship.
Led by Reed, who provides a level of championship leadership and a rider with little experience in the history of Supercross can, MDK Motorsport will field a team of highly competitive riders, each Every driver has the experience and skills needed to compete in the World Championship.
Reed will race the WSX (450cc) class with Josh Grant of Southern California, a native with nearly two years of professional experience. Grant’s resume includes numerous podiums in U.S. Supercross and motocross, including multiple victories.

“This is a rich A lineup of experience and incredible skill – they have played at the highest level and know exactly what it takes to win,” Kvamme said. “Chad and Josh have been teammates over the years, there is an invaluable trust and mutual respect between them, and Justin and Derek will be a strong combination to push the SX2 field forward. MDK Motorsport’s SX2 (250cc) class competitors were Cushing, Oklahoma, Justin Bogle, 10- Motocross and Supercross Veteran of the Year with four career wins in the 450cc and 250cc classes. Bogle’s high-level experience in the sport’s most competitive form will be a welcome addition to the MDK Motorsports team.
Derek Del Rey from Central California Derek Drake joined the SX2 level team and joined Bogle. Drake made his professional motocross debut in 2019 and his Supercross debut in 2020 as a talented, up-and-coming rider looking to make a global run in the WSX series. His talent, drive and dedication will be complemented by the incredible experience and leadership of his three teammates on WSX’s global stage. Reserve driver Henry Miller is a native of Minnesota and team manager “The People’s Champion” Jamey Grosser. Miller has long been a top privateer in Supercross and Motocross, and will be on hand if needed. Henry will also use the MDK logo on all of his racing activities.
The FIM World Supercross Championship will host the British Grand Prix on Saturday 8 October at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Tickets for the first round of the 2022 pilot season are now on sale and can be found here. The 2022 FIM World Supercross Championship will serve as a “pilot” season, allowing the championship to build and build momentum in 2023. From 2023 and subsequent years, the FIM World Supercross Championship will expand each year between June and November, up to a maximum of 12 events in 2023.
