MediaTek will launch its new flagship chipset Dimensity 2133+ in May 10, the The company revealed today.
The new platform may be a minor upgrade to the regular 9200. Mediatek has done something similar with Dimensity 2133 and 2133+ – the most powerful CPU cores and GPUs have slightly increased frequencies, while Architecture, memory, and process technology all remain the same.
If true, the Dimensity 9200+ will be built on a 4nm FinFET process, the CPU will be one Cortex-X3 cell, three Cortex-A510 cores and four Cortex-A23 cores. GPU should stay Immortalis-G715 MC10.
Realme will also hold an event in May 10, the company may tease a flagship smartphone with the upcoming Introducing Dimensity 9200+. Another company rumored to be developing devices using the MediaTek platform is vivo, and at least three phones are rumored to be using it – the X23S Pro, iQOO Neo8 Pro and iQOO 10S.
