What were you doing when you were 12? If we had to guess, we’d say you didn’t play in a professional golf tournament.
Well, meet Louis Klein, a 12-year-old DP Tournament World Tour, officially known as the European Tour, this week at the Albatross Golf Resort Prague, Czech Republic At the D+D Real Czech Masters.
Klein posted a first-round 4-over 76 on Thursday. He even made 17 holes before making eight quad bogeys on the par-4 18th. Klein was 2 under on 12 holes Friday, 4 over for his final six and a 2-over 74 the next day. On this long par putt on the par-3 third, his 12th of the day, fans loved it during the second round.
Matteo Manacero is the youngest player to win the DP World Tour. He was 17 when he won the 2010 Castro Masters by four points.
