Melissa McCarthy to Receive CinemaCon's Cinema Vérité Award in Las Vegas

Melissa McCarthy will soon be making a splash at CinemaCon.

The Oscar-nominated actress will receive a Cinema Vérité in Las Vegas, an honor ahead of her next starring role at Walt Disney Studios The Little Mermaid May 26. McCarthy voiced filmmaker Rob Marshall as Ursula, Halle Bailey as Ariel, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Kafina voices Scartel, Jacob Tremblay voices Flounder, and Javier Bardem voices King Triton.

McCarthy will be on April 26 Trophies were awarded at the Big Screen Achievement Awards Ceremony held in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, hosted by official sponsor The Coca-Cola Company.

McCarthy is currently filming Richard DeCurtis’ untitled New York Christmas comedy film, and recently completed Jerry Seinfeld’s Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story .
