Merab Dvalishvili has revealed that former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo may be eliminated.

The two bantamweights faced off at UFC 278 last Saturday night in Salt Lake City, Utah. The fight was a pivotal one in the 135-pound class, as both were fighting for the title.

Before the race, the Brazilian said his ideal would be to win the race, win the championship, and then retire this year. Sadly, Aldo’s plans were disrupted last weekend. Devalishvili outplayed the legend in the match and won by unanimous decision.

“This is a very exciting time. That’s why I spoke to him. I said, ‘You’re amazing, you’ve done so much, you’ve got nothing to prove, you’re a legend – you’re a king. I’m a little sad. ” It’s worth noting that in light of the loss, Jose Aldo’s emotions could run high and his mind could change.
